I took my first photography class in high school and it was love at first sight. When I was in the darkroom watching my image magically appear floating in the developer I knew I had found my creative home. In the beginning and still to this day I have great love for stark beauty and simplicity of black and white photography. I love how light and shadow abstract and define shape and form. As well as figuratively dark shadow emotions can be juxtaposed with light, airy freedom that art provides. In 2010 I opened up my online shop which is now called " Ruby and Luna" after my two little girls. My children are a great inspiration and I want to show them the natural world through my eyes. I find much of my inspiration from nature and from the emotional landscapes within all of us. While many times i cant find the words to express myself, I can illustrate it with my camera.
